Big Kids Improv Camp
April 1-4, 2027
What?
Big Kids Improv Camp is a 3-day, 3-night transformative retreat for adults (19+) who like to integrate play with personal growth.
Over the course of the retreat, you'll dive deep into improv workshops led by some of Vancouver's most experienced improv performers and instructors—sandwiched between guided meditations, breathwork, mindfulness, and somatic practices that ground you in your body and the present moment.
But here's what makes this retreat truly special: the people.
When you gather with a small group of like-minded souls in the mountains, committed to play and growth, something profound happens. You'll form deep, authentic connections that extend far beyond the weekend.
These aren't surface-level friendships—they're the kind of bonds that last. The kind where you text each other months later, remembering an inside joke, or a breakthrough moment during breathwork. The kind where you get each other because you've shown up vulnerably together.
Expect to:
Play hard – workshops designed to unlock spontaneity, creativity & joy
Breathe deep – guided practices to ground and centre you
Connect authentically – build meaningful, long-lasting friendships
Laugh freely – because fun is number one!
Be present – mindfulness woven throughout every moment
Grow boldly – shed what no longer serves you and step into who you're becoming
Belong – find your people in a community that truly sees you
Bonus: Farm animals galore!
This summer camp is for adults who have taken Improv courses previously, and are looking to extend their practice.
“I really love the experience and think this is an amazing concept. I'm grateful that I was able to join the first time you made it happen and for becoming part of the community. Thank you, thank you, thank you.”
“I really enjoyed my time at the retreat and thought overall it went off with a bang, and the way it was designed allowed us all to be open and available for improv.”
“Such an amazing camp experience, thank you! I loved it so much. I am looking forward to attending another one!”
When?
Thursday, April 1st – Sunday, April 4th, 2027

It's springtime—the light is increasing, the heat is rising, so it’s time for us to bloom!
Being April in Squamish, we might see some rain (it's the mountains, after all! ), but we're adaptable people, and a little rain won't alter our experience—if anything, it adds to the magic.
We have a beautiful lodge and barn where we'll gather and hold workshops, so you'll be comfortable no matter what the weather brings. Rain or shine, we're here to play, grow, and connect.
The mountains don't wait for perfect conditions—and neither do we.
Where?
Glacier Valley Farm, Upper Squamish Valley, BC (12825 Squamish Valley Road)
Nestled in the heart of the Upper Squamish Valley, Glacier Valley Farm is surrounded by towering mountains, lush nature, and the kind of clean mountain air that makes you breathe a little deeper.
The moment you arrive, you can't help but feel grounded and held by the environment. This isn't just a location—it's a container for transformation.
Expect to see goats, chickens, pigs, sheep, dogs, bison, bunnies, emu, mini horses and donkeys throughout your stay. There's something deeply grounding about connecting with animals—they remind us to be present, playful, and perfectly imperfect.
This is where play meets peace. Where growth meets grounding. Where YOU meet the mountains.
All attendees will be staying in a farm style lodge, where rustic meets refined. This is where we will gather to enjoy meals in our gourmet kitchen and dining area, relax and unwind after the workshops in the spacious living area, movie theatre, games room or hot tub, and create long lasting memories.
Accommodation Options:
Single room with private bathroom (1 spot available)
Single room with shared bathrooms (2 spots available)

At Step Out! we believe Improv isn’t as fun if our nervous systems are activated. Nervous system regulation is not spiritual it’s essential. You can choose not to participate in these sessions, but trust me you won’t regret it when you do.
-
Our bodies are constantly communicating, often long before we find the words to describe what we're experiencing. In this experiential workshop, we'll explore how different nervous system states influence the way we move, communicate, and express ourselves. Through guided awareness and movement, participants will discover how to recognize and shift between different states, creating greater freedom and choice in how they express themselves.
The invitation is simple: Get curious about what your body has to say.
-
This is a camp at a farm with animals running free and contained, so if this is not your vibe, then maybe this camp isn’t for you.
-
There is WIFI but no cell service. We do recommend that you take this opportunity to unplug and truly connect with the environment, yourself and others.
