“I was completely new to improv before signing up for beginner classes with Louise, and I was way out of my comfort zone. But I’m so happy that I took the leap - easily one of the best decisions that I’ve made lately!
Improv is incredibly liberating. It’s helped me tap into my creativity, become less afraid to make mistakes, and rediscover the joy of play. Louise is an excellent teacher - patient, empathetic and highly attuned to both individuals and the group dynamic. The class environment is welcoming, positive, and completely free of judgment.
If you’re curious about improv, I highly recommend going for it and signing up with Step Out!

“Every week I look forward to it. It is honestly so fun and refreshing. It gets you out of your comfort zone, without pressure and unease. Everyone is encouraging and welcoming, it is really a safe place, where you can play and have so much fun! What ever it is you are worried about, just stop overthinking it and join the improv class! You won't regret it”.

In the beginner Improv class the focus is on building confidence and fostering a supportive environment for exploration through laughter. Through group exercises and games you will be introduced to the foundations of improv such as “Yes, And”, spontaneity, active listening, being present in the moment, self awareness, vulnerability, taking risks, making and accepting offers. This class is all about stepping out of your comfort zone, trusting yourself and failing joyfully.
IMPROVER IMPROV
In the Improver Improv class you will build on the foundations and be introduced to or extended with character development. You will explore creating characters through internal motivations like point of view, status, emotions, and objectives – as well as the external ones like physicality and relationships to other characters. You will learn how to clearly establish the ‘who’ in scenes and define your character choices. You will also learn to create the environments your characters live in. This class will balance challenge and enjoyment, with an emphasis on nurturing creativity and refining the fundamentals.
